The new certified reverse systems can be used on Pratt & Whitney, Allison and Walter Turbines.

December 2018

MT-Propeller received the new EASA Type Certificate for the Propeller Model MTV-9 for engines up to 850 shp at a maximum propeller speed of 2200 rpm.

This propeller with a diameter of up to 102,3 inch (260 cm) makes an excellent option for P&W engines up to 850 shp and 2200 rpm to install the lightest weight certified 3-bladed full feathering / reversing propeller model with an approximate weight of 92 lbs (42 kg).

The new certified reverse systems can be used on Pratt & Whitney, Allison and Walter Turbines.

The MTV-9 was already certified for the hub-flange types -B (Lycoming engines), -D (Continental engines), -E (Propellerturbines), -K (M-14 radial engines) and now it is also certified for the hub flange type -AA. It was successfully tested on the Dornier Do27 and is suitable for all Spline 20 applications.

The advantages of the MTV-9 on the hub flange -AA types are the bolt on design, no engine modifications are neccessary and it is easy to install.

The MTV-9 is an easy to maintain, low maintenance, certified system - a constant speed propeller in long time proven MT-Propeller quality. More than 4150+ of the MTV-9 propeller systems are in Service worldwide since years and now are also available for turbine engines.

No life limited parts are installed in any MT-Propeller which makes it one of the lowest cost propeller to be operated.

MT-Propeller is the world leading natural composite propeller manufacturer with 30 certified propeller models from 2-blade to 7-blade hydraulically controlled variable pitch propeller, for engines producing up to 5000hp, and 2-blade to 4-blade electrically controlled variable pitch propeller, for engines producing up to 350hp as well as two blade fixed pitch propellers.

The high performance, light weight and durable MT-Propellers can be used on aircraft with piston engines and propeller turbines, as well as on airships, wind tunnels or hovercraft. MT-Propellers can be developed for nearly every aircraft type from motor gliders to regional airliners.

Fulfilling the highest certifications requirements they are also supplemental type certified on Part 25 aircraft.
