Excellerate will unveil new energy product innovations to the aviation industry at EAA AirVenture 2019. These clean energy products provide a constant, reliable source of power in locations such as remote airfields and air parks, can charge electric aircraft, and can even power entire fleets of electric vehicles.
Media will be able to see aircraft being charged by this new technology and speak with the engineers behind it.
Not only does Excellerate provide power for aviation enthusiasts, it will also be powering the Ultralight Camping Area at EAA AirVenture using clean energy solutions and products.
This year, the manufacturer will introduce the following products:
- Excellerate Solar Ground Mount: The new Excellerate Solar Ground Mount product is a preassembled, modular solar panel that can be installed on an individual basis or as part of large-scale solar fields. When it arrives to the installation site, the already connected frame and racking system provides easy installation wherever it's needed.
- Excellerate's Energy Storage and Controls: The Solar Ground Mount pairs perfectly with Excellerate's Energy Storage and Control units. This pre-built microgrid unit contains all the control functionality and battery storage needed for a microgrid. It has easy inputs for solar PV or generators and can either be grid connected or operate in "island" mode separate from the traditional energy grid.
- Excellerate Solar Walkway: The Excellerate Solar Walkway is an innovative product that provides inclement weather protection for pedestrians, while producing renewable energy and power to nearby sources. These walkways can be implemented between parking lots and buildings, building entrances, sidewalks and much more.
