Augusta, KS--July 1, 2015--GlobalParts.aero has launched a new, “fully-dynamic” website that is focused on responding to the needs of customers quickly and efficiently with separate pages dedicated to its specific distribution, manufacturing and overhaul and repair business units.  As a key element in the broad-based expansion of the Augusta, Kansas-based aerospace firm,  the website has been redesigned and expanded to allow customers to not only access key information but also to order parts on line.  It features a shopping cart option that provides direct ordering through the website--”a one-stop shop for product inventories, pricing, and availability,” according to Malissa Nesmith, GlobalParts.aero’s Chief Operating Officer.

“Virtually everything about our website, including the address, reflects our desire to ensure that the our customers’ experiences are user-friendly, positive and productive.  They’re the source of many of our ideas; they literally drive the innovations upon which our business is built by offering suggestions, providing feedback on the way we respond, telling us what services or capabilities they wish we could add.  That’s why we’ve taken significant steps to not only meet those requests, but to raise  the level of our customer communications to demonstrate our commitment.”

The new website includes all-new graphics and even a link to the blogosphere.   It provides a platform for information and discussion on a variety of subjects, including a channel for communicating with owners and operators of Meyers Aircraft.  GlobalParts acquired the type certificates and production rights to the Meyers product line last year.  More than 100 of the high performance single-engine airplanes are still flying.  Dozens recently completed a Fly-in to GlobalParts.aero’s headquarters in Augusta, Kansas.

Content of the site is also new and is managed by GlobalParts.aero so that it can be updated at a moment’s notice.  “We believe that our website can be  a beneficial, up-to-date  and interactive communications tool.  Like the parts we produce, it’s designed to fill a need, improve performance, and make our customers more productive, too,” Ms. Nesmith added.  GlobalParts.aero also operates a 24 Hour AOG hotline at 316-733-9240 and monitors an AOG e-mail address at: [email protected].

GlobalParts.aero will also be exhibiting at EAA Airventure 2015 - Booth #175 in Oshkosh, WI July 20th-26th.
