Liverpool, NY- June 2, 2014 - Tactair Fluid Controls Inc. announces the award of a contract from Embraer to design and manufacture the hydraulic system valves and hydraulic accumulators for the E-Jets E2 aircraft program. Each ship set consists of 2 unique hydraulic accumulators (3 in total), and 7 unique valves (13 in total) including selector valves, priority valves, bypass valves, and shut-off valves.
The accumulators offered by Tactair are part of our newest standard accumulator product line, designed to meet the demanding requirements of ARP-4379A and, along with the valves, the high reliability expected by the newest commercial aircraft.
Tactair has a long standing relationship with Embraer dating back to the EMB 110 Bandeirante and is looking forward to the opportunity to participate on the second generation of its E-Jets family of commercial aircraft, the E-Jets E2.
