Founded in 1958, Loos and Company has since become a leader in manufacturing a wide variety of wire, aircraft cable, and wire rope. Loos draws wire, strands, and closes wire rope up to 1-1-4″ DIA right in the USA at our Pomfret, Connecticut facility.

Our facilities are state-of-the-art with: rope mill, extrusion rooms, cable tech areas, wire mill, machining and testing labs – we are you’re one-stop-shop.

Today, Loos & Co. is proud to be a part of Central Wire Group of Companies, representing the company’s Rope and Assemblies division. This division consists of three brands located across the United States, Loos & Co. Inc., Strand Core and Sanlo Inc., each of which provides different capabilities to meet our customer’s precise specifications.
