    StandardAero Joins Forces with Universal to Offer New Avionics Upgrade Incentives

    Through StandardAero, Universal Avionics is offering trade-in credit for operators’ non SBAS-FMS, and when performing their upgrade for ADS-B Out and is offering a significant discount on the Rockwell Collins TDR-94(D) Mode S Transponders.

    LAS VEGAS, Nev. – November 16, 2015 –  Operators of Learjet 45, Learjet 60, Astra SPX and Gulfstream G100 can now upgrade their aircraft with the Universal Avionics Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS)-capable Flight Management System (FMS) and transponders with Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) DO-260B while taking advantage of new, significant savings during a limited time offer from StandardAero and Universal Avionics.   

    Through StandardAero, Universal Avionics is offering trade-in credit for operators’ non SBAS-FMS, and when performing their upgrade for ADS-B Out and is offering a significant discount on the Rockwell Collins TDR-94(D) Mode S Transponders. 

    For an additional price, Universal Avionics is also offering an extended warranty plan with the FlightAssure™ program.  FlightAssure is a fixed price warranty program for new and existing Universal Avionics products.  In addition, Standard Aero is offering a reduced, flat rate labor pricing of $80.00 per hour for all airframe inspections completed during the upgrade.

    In addition to the upgrade, operators may also select one item from Group “A” or any two items from Group “B” below as additional, no-cost incentives through this special, limited time offer:

    Group A

    • $15,000 Open credit on account to be used at any StandardAero facility
    • Four each True Blue Power USB charging outlet installation:  Cockpit & Cabin
    • Free Boom Beam landing light installation: Astra SPX and G100 only

    Group B

    • Free GOGO Talk and Text, if appropriately equipped or combined with new reduced cost installation:  GOGO Biz ATG-4000 or ATG-5000
    • Two each True Blue Power USB charging outlet installation:  Cockpit Only
    • $7,500 open credit on account to be used at any StandardAero facility
    • Free LED landing light installation: Learjet 45 and Learjet 60 aircraft only
