Women in Corporate Aviation Announces Opening of Europe-Based Training Scholarships
SOUTHAVEN, Miss. – March 15, 2019– Women in Corporate Aviation (WCA) is announcing new scholarship opportunities for 2019.
• Two Day Service Masterclass from Corporate Flight Training in the UK
• Two General Emergency Initial Training Courses from FlightSafety International Le Bourget, Paris
The Service Masterclass is for VIP Flight Attendants, or personal staff currently working on-board a private aircraft, who wish to finesse their professional skills and master their service flair by learning the latest from industry experts. The Service Masterclass combines the best of service training, hospitality and contemporary culinary technique. The course trainers served as Footmen to the British Royal family and as Butlers in exclusive residences around the world. This unique course aims to ensure any candidates can set themselves above the rest by ensuring the service they deliver is exceptional.
The Corporate General Emergency Training Course provides professional instruction for In-flight emergency response. FlightSafety International created this customizable training specifically to address the emergency training needs of corporate flight operations, regardless of size or situation. The training meets most requirements of regulatory agencies worldwide as well as the requirements of most Safety Management Systems (SMS), including IS-BAO. Pilots, engineers, maintenance technicians and flight attendants all benefit from these comprehensive courses, designed to enhance the safety of your flight department by promoting rapid, accurate response to in-flight emergencies.
Requirements Include:
Ø 2 Letters of recommendation
Ø 1 Page essay, to include an introduction, aspirations, future plans and involvement in the business aviation industry. Ø Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Ø Must be an active member in Women in Corporate Aviation
Ø Award must be used within one year of receipt Ø WCA members may apply for both scholarships
Note: After completion of the award, recipients are kindly requested to send a short account of the training received and how it is being put to good use. Articles, photos and videos are welcome for WCA marketing purposes and so that we can help you CELEBRATE!
The scholarships will be presented at the WCA’s 10th Anniversary International Networking Breakfast during EBACE 2019, held on May 22th at the Starling Hotel in Geneva at 07:30 a.m.
The scholarship application window will be open from 15th of March 2019, through 1st of May 2019. The winner will be responsible for all associated travel expenses.
