ARSA Alert - House FAA Bill Introduced

ARSA's legislative team is poring over the bill and will work to ensure the interests of maintenance providers are well-represented.

This morning, House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee Chairman Bill Shuster (R-Pa.) unveiled his long-awaited FAA reauthorization proposal (the Aviation Innovation, Reform, and Reauthorization Act). ARSA's legislative team is poring over the bill and will work to ensure the interests of maintenance providers are well-represented.

Remember, introduction is just a beginning step in the process and the bill will likely undergo significant changes before it becomes law (if it does).

Now is the time to act:

(1) Review the proposal by visiting transportation.house.gov/airr-act/.

(2) Check arsa.org/legislative to see how the association can get you involved in the process.

(3) Join us in Washington for Legislative Day on March 16. Come tell your elected officials - face to face - how to best serve both the aviation community and the global flying public.
