NBAA Welcomes House Passage of FAA Extension Bill

U.S. House of Representatives approved legislation yesterday to fund the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) through March 2016.

Washington, DC, Sept. 29, 2015 ­– National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) President and CEO Ed Bolen today commended the U.S. House of Representatives for approving legislation yesterday to fund the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) through March 2016. Senate action on the House extension is expected before the current authorization expires on Sept. 30.

"The business aviation community applauds House leaders for recognizing the importance of FAA operations," Bolen said. "This extension will ensure that important safety and other operational functions continue."
