CJP HEADQUARTERS, ENTERPRISE, FL.- (January 6, 2015)  - The Citation Jet Pilots (CJP) Association, the premier owner/pilot organization for the Cessna Citation series of jet aircraft, is pleased to announce that Cheryl Hardy was recently named Chief Operating Officer for the organization.

Hardy joined CJP as Executive Administrator in 2011, bringing her more than 33 years of experience with association management in handling all aspects of association activities, including assisting with the coordination of the annual CJP Convention and publication of the CJP Flight Levels member newsletter.

"From her first day on the job, Cheryl has been the backbone of CJP. She "connects the dots" for our organization and holds us accountable,” said CJP President David Miller. “Her new title is a recognition of her outstanding contributions to CJP."

Hardy’s promotion comes as CJP continues to evolve its mission and membership programs to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse member base. In her newly expanded role, Hardy will continue as Executive Administrator while also supporting the leadership of Retired Lt. Col. Jon Huggins, who was named CJP Executive Director last August, in broadening CJP’s scope and available resources to its Members.

"Cheryl's extensive aviation background and her knowledge of every facet of CJP's operations is key in developing the association's strategy,” stated Huggins. “Ultimately, her ability to execute our day-to-day operations brings great value to CJP members."

Prior to joining CJP, Hardy served for 28 years as the Vice President of a multi-association management company. She remains actively involved with aviation and aviation safety as a Lead FAASTeam Representative, and has been honored as the National FAA Safety Team Representative of the Year.

"Simply stated, Cheryl is the glue that holds CJP together!" concluded CJP Chairman Mark Aloe. "She brings years of institutional experience and member service to our organization, and her promotion reflects her dedication to the fastest-growing specialty aviation group in the world."
