The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) welcomes U.S. House Reps. Dina Titus, D-Nevada, and Sam Graves, R-Missouri, as featured speakers at Collegiate Connect Day on Thursday, Oct. 14, during the 2021 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas.

Graves has represented Missouri’s 6th Congressional District since 2001, with Titus elected to Congress in 2008, and currently dean of the Nevada congressional delegation. Both lawmakers are known on Capitol Hill for their leadership on matters related to the nation’s aviation industry, including as members of the House General Aviation (GA) Caucus, where Graves serves as the caucus co-chair.

NBAA frequently engages with both representatives on a variety of matters affecting the industry. They are also familiar faces at NBAA’s annual convention, with Graves speaking at the event in 2012, 2013 and 2016, and Titus serving as a keynote speaker at NBAA-BACE in 2015 and 2017.

“We are tremendously pleased to welcome these dedicated and tireless aviation advocates to NBAA’s convention, and we thank them for their participation in Collegiate Connect Day, which is focused on introducing students to the many opportunities throughout our industry,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “Their involvement demonstrates the significant role of business aviation across our country and the importance of developing a new generation to lead our industry toward a bright and exciting future.”

Collegiate Connect Day will feature an impressive roster of student-focused sessions and programming, as well as the unique opportunity for students to visit hundreds of exhibitors and a wide range of aircraft on display at NBAA-BACE.

The event will offer speed-mentoring with young professionals and a panel discussion about engaging with local and regional groups to volunteer, advocate and pursue professional development, as well as the opportunity to sign up for resume or LinkedIn profile reviews, and network with others at the NBAA booth.

Taking place Oct. 12-14 in the brand-new West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), with an expansive outdoor aircraft display at nearby Henderson Executive Airport (HND), NBAA-BACE promises to be a transformational event for business aviation, as the industry gathers to demonstrate its resilience against adversity and its continued path toward innovation and sustainability.
