AMT's Inspection Authorization Refresher Training

We realize there are many options for Inspection Authorization refresher training and in the past AMT provided both live event and online training for those who choose training as a means of IA renewal.

A couple years ago, we discontinued the live IA training we provided at various locations around the country. At this time, AMT and its official website www.AviationPros.com has also discontinued the online web based training as well. We want to thank all of you who participated.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) provides a list of accepted IA refresher training courses on the FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam) website www.faasafety.gov under the Maintenance Hangar tab. Additionally, you can search under the Seminars and Webinars tab for seminars and FAA accepted training courses in your area.

Also, many local FAA, State Aeronautics Offices and local aviation groups provide FAA accepted IA refresher training. We encourage you to review 14CFR 65.93 or contact your local FAA Flight Standards District Office for your IA renewal options.
