International Award Supports Art Williams and Harry Wendt Aeronautical Engineering School’s Nominee to Attend IATA Airline Safety Investigation Course in Montreal, Canada

International Federation of Airworthiness (IFA) award scholarship to Raphael Rogers a student of Art Williams & Harry Wendt Aeronautical Engineering School, Guyana.

Raphael is currently working as an aircraft maintenance technician with Caribbean Aviation Maintenance Services (CAMS) having graduated and worked at the Art Williams & Harry Wendt Aeronautical Engineering School based in Guyana and is delighted to have been chosen to receive the award.  

“I am grateful for this opportunity to attend this course on Airline Safety Investigation. I am looking forward to what I would be able to learn and hope that it would give me a better perspective on airline safety risks and to expand my view as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician” - Raphael Rogers.  

Raphael thanked Mrs. Nalini Chanderban, Accountable Manager who sponsored his application. The Art Williams & Harry Wendt Aeronautical Engineering School, a long-time supporter of IFA is keen to promote the interest in airworthiness and safety and this award highlights and recognises the ongoing efforts that the school have placed on airworthiness.

Raphael has chosen to use his scholarship to attend the IATA Airline Safety Investigation 5-day course which will take place in Montreal, Canada in August 2019
