Flamingo Air’s Airline Ground School Offering Certification

Cincinnati-based Airline Ground Schools will now offer an Aircraft Electrician Certificate. This course is fully accredited by the (National Center for Aerospace Technology and Training (NCATT) and American Standards Training and Materials (ASTM).

Cincinnati, OH – December 7, 2017 – Responding to continual reports from the airline industry, Cincinnati-based Airline Ground Schools will now offer an Aircraft Electrician Certificate. This course is fully accredited by the (National Center for Aerospace Technology and Training (NCATT) and American Standards Training and Materials (ASTM).

Flamingo Air president David MacDonald calls the course the “perfect introduction to becoming a full avionics technician.”

It covers such things a basic wiring, harness building, avionics removal and installation and will result in a technician being fully qualified to carry out the basic duties of an aviation electronics worker. “As with just about every aspect of the aviation world trained avionics technicians are is short supply,” MacDonald said. “This course provides the basic skills necessary to function in the world of electronics. And, it is not just avionics.
