NEW YORK (November 30, 2017) –FlightSafety International announces that Brian Moore has been promoted to Executive Director, Operations. Scott Politte assumes Brian’s previous responsibilities as Manager of the Wichita East Learning Center.

“Brian has made a significant contribution to FlightSafety’s training programs since joining us in 1990,” said Daniel MacLellan, Senior Vice President, Operations. “His in-depth understanding of Customer requirements and training center operations, as well as his leadership skills and commitment to provide high quality training programs and services made him the ideal person to assume this important role.”

He will oversee several functional groups within Training Operations. They include Operations Project Management, Quality Management and Safety Management Systems, and Standards. Brian will also have worldwide responsibility for maintenance and flight attendant training, as well as simulator operations at all FlightSafety Learning Centers.

Brian first served as an Instructor for Beechcraft Bonanza, Baron and Premier aircraft. He was promoted to Program Manager of Bonanza and Baron training in 1997, Assistant Program Manager of training for the Premier in 2007, Relationship Manager for Hawker and Beechcraft in 2008, and Assistant Manager of FlightSafety’s Wichita Cessna Learning Center in 2014. He was promoted to Manager of the Wichita East Center in 2015.

He holds Airline Transport Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor, and Multi Engine Instructor certificates. Brian has over 3,000 hours of flying experience and a Beechcraft Premier RA-390S type rating. He has provided more than 6,000 hours of ground school and simulator instruction to date. Brian received a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics, an Associate of Science in Business Management, and a Master of Business Administration in Aviation, from Embry Riddle University.

Scott joined FlightSafety in 2006 as a Product Marketing Manager at FlightSafety’s Learning Center in Toledo, Ohio. He went on to serve as Citation 650 Program Manager, Training Center Evaluator, and Director of Training. Scott relocated to the Wichita East Learning Center in 2012 to become Assistant Director of Training, and most recently served as Assistant Center Manager.

He graduated from Parks College of Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Sciences. Scott has over 3,000 hours of flying experience, holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate and is a Certified Flight Instructor. He is type rated in the Cessna Citation 650 and Citation 500 series aircraft.

The Wichita East Learning Center offers 22 simulators for Beechcraft, Cessna, Hawker and Bombardier aircraft. They are used to provide training for the Beechcraft Baron, Bonanza, 400A, King Air B200, C90, C200, 350 and Premiere 1A; Cessna Caravan, Citation CJ3+, M2, and Mustang; Hawker 4000, 800XP, 900XP; and the Bombardier Learjet 45.
