Arlington Aerospace is working with Tameside College and The Skills Company – the largest provider of apprenticeships and traineeships in Greater Manchester – to introduce an apprenticeship scheme at their Wythenshawe factory.

The parts manufacturer, famed for its pioneering work in supply chain integration, is keen to extend its extensive CSR policy by employing local people and offer them an exciting career in aerospace.

Having recently taken on two young adults – Ben Marsland as Apprentice Toolmaker, and Shaun Robinson as Apprentice CNC Machinist – Arlington is currently looking for a third apprentice to work in fabrication.

John Brazier, CEO of AIM Engineering & AIM Design said: "We’re delighted to welcome both Ben and Shaun to the Arlington Group. They’re already making great use of the natural talent which made them stand out to us and we’re sure they’ll both be genuine assets moving forward.”
