Each year, Aircraft Maintenance Technology (AMT) offers an exam to our readers. The AMT 2015 Recurrent Training Exam, based on 2014 articles is now available on www.aviationpros.com. The exam consists of 192 questions and is good for four (4) hours of training credit toward Inspection Authorization renewal and six (6) hours credit for the FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician Awards Program or Transport Canada’s recurrent training requirements. The articles referenced in the exam can be found in the 2014 issues of AMT and are also available on AviationPros.com.
To access the exam from AviationPros.com, select the Menu button near the upper right of the home page, select IA Exam, fill out the information needed, and get started. You must have a score of 85 percent or better to receive credit. And you can retake the exam if you don’t get a passing score.
If you prefer to fill out the hard-copy form using the same process from years past, simply download the exam using the pdf version. Hard-copy exams must be received by March 6, 2015 in order for them to be graded and completion certificates processed. Additionally, a hard-copy version of the exam will be in the January/February 2015 issue of AMT Magazine. Good luck on the exam.
