Giovanni Tomassini appointed new CEO of Piaggio Aerospace

The Board of Directors of Baykar Piaggio Aerospace S.p.A – the new company to which the business complexes of Piaggio Aero and Piaggio Aviation under extraordinary administration have been transferred –announced today the appointment of Giovanni Tomassini, the current Chief Operating Officer, as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

Born in 1964, with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Politecnico University of Milan, Tomassini joined Piaggio Aerospace in 2009. Previously, he worked at Ansaldo Sistemi Industriali and Aermacchi, where he held the position of Production Manager.
