Digital Signage Expo (DSE) announced Dec. 5, that its Digital Signage General End User Seminar Program at DSE 2018 designed specifically for end users, will feature an hour-long session titled, “To Boldly Go: How Marriott is Teleporting Guests into Next Gen Customer Experiences.”
On March 28 at 9 a.m., David Kepron, vice president global design strategies – Lifestyle Brands for Marriott International, will present a session that will look at the issues of creating VR experiences and how companies can see them less as syphoning off customers and revenue from stores and more as a vehicle to provide customers with meaningful relationships, and actually being in places that engage us in experiences that are relevant.
“For years retailers have been touting the benefits of providing experiences that not only delight the eyes but also engage the senses,” said Kepron. “Providing immersive environments that play to the five senses, which trigger neural pathways that that enhance memory, unlock emotions, make customer engagement more profound and relationships longer lasting.”
Registration for the DSE March 28 session, “To Boldly Go: How Marriott is Teleporting Guests into Next Gen Customer Experiences,” or any of the DSE 2018 educational conference seminars, which are sponsored by BroadSign International and are eligible for Digital Signage Expert Group (DSEG) certification renewal credits, is available online at www.dse2018.com.
