Individuals can now register for TSA Pre✓ in Mishawaka at the H&R Block located at 828 West McKinley Avenue. Membership is $85 for five years, which is merely $17 per year.
To pre-enroll and schedule an appointment, visit https://www.tsa.gov/precheck. At the appointment, travelers will provide fingerprints and confirm their identity and proof of citizenship via a passport, or valid driver’s license and social security card. Once approved for enrollment, TSA will administer a nine-digit number known as a Known Traveler Number (KTN) to use when booking flights.
TSA Pre✓ allows travelers to easily pass through security checkpoints without removing one’s shoes, laptops, liquids, belts and light jackets.
TSA Pre✓ has been available at SBN since 2013.
