Chaos at Manchester Airport as Passengers Are Sent Through the Wrong Door in 'Massive Security Breach'

Travellers arriving at Manchester Airport on an easyJet flight from Paris were left angered following an alleged “major security breach” during which arrival passengers were mistakenly led to departures rather arrivals after disembarking the plane.

The passengers had reportedly got off the aircraft and were walking through the airport when they were said to have been stopped from going any further following the discovery of the error by a worker managing a flight departing for Dublin.

Angela Bell, a passenger on board the flight, said the handling of the situation was “outrageous”, with no “stringent security checks” conducted at passport control, in an interview with the Manchester Evening News.
