Tuff Appointed to Naples Airport Authority Noise Compatibility Committee

June 6, 2017

Russell Tuff, managing partner of Social-Impact Public Relations & Internet Marketing, has been appointed to the Naples Airport Authority Noise Compatibility Committee for a four-year term, filling the position that represents the geographic area northeast of the airport.

The former publisher and executive editor of community publications and niche markets for the Naples News Media Group, Tuff has been a Naples resident for nearly 30 years. He is a member and past president of the Golden Gate Civic Association board of directors and immediate past president of the Public Relations Society of America Gulf Coast Chapter. Tuff has an extensive record of community involvement, including previous positions as a Collier County Planning commissioner and member of The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce board of directors.

The Noise Compatibility Committee helps monitor the impact of aircraft noise and makes recommendations about noise-mitigation procedures for consideration by the Airport Authority Board of Commissioners.

In addition to Tuff, the committee includes Chair Ernest Linneman, Bruce Byerly, City Council Member Doug Finlay, Cliff Holland, Justin Lobb, John Mastrocinque, Robert Metzler and Gary Revall.
