The Anderson Regional Airport will soon get a major makeover.
A new $2 million terminal and a new 150-foot-wide main runway are coming soon to the facility, Anderson County Administrator Rusty Burns said Thursday.
Burns said the work, financed in part by a grant from the Federal Aviation Association, will begin "almost immediately" after Sunday's Bill and Jo Trent Anderson Regional Airshow.
