WI: Plane Slides Off Runway at Austin Straubel Airport

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A Boeing 737 coming from Houston slid off the runway when landing at Austin Straubel Airport Friday morning.


United Flight 878 was heading to Minneapolis-St. Paul. They had to stop in Madison for 45 minutes, but did eventually take off.

When attempting to land in Minneapolis-St. Paul, they had to turn around due to bad weather conditions. The flight headed to Green Bay, when it slid off the runway by 250 feet when landing at Austin-Straubel Airport at 3 a.m.
