FORT WORTH, Texas — Get ready for more fun next February and March with more flights from American Airlines to popular events around the world. Football fans can cheer on their favorite teams in Las Vegas (LAS) with flights from 10 destinations around the country. For more tech-minded travelers, American has also added flights to Barcelona, Spain (BCN), for nonstop access to a major annual mobile communications trade show.
“Whether you're looking to get the latest on all that's happening with mobile communications or celebrating your team playing in the championship game, we know nothing beats seeing it live,” said Jason Reisinger, American's Managing Director of Global Network Planning. “With more than 6,000 additional seats in and out of Las Vegas and Barcelona, we're adding more convenient ways to connect fans and enthusiasts to experience all the action.”

Gate to game: more ways to Las Vegas
For game-bound travelers, American will add more flights and seats to LAS between Feb. 8 and Feb. 12 . For those looking to make the trip even more special, American will operate flights from New York (JFK) to LAS using its Airbus A321T aircraft, featuring 10 lie-flat Flagship© First and 20 lie-flat Flagship Business seats. American will also operate the A321T on select flights to Los Angeles (LAX), offering one-stop lie-flat premium connections to transcontinental destinations, including JFK and Boston (BOS).
Customers purchasing an eligible itinerary will be able to enjoy an elevated preflight experience. On the ground at JFK, customers ticketed in Flagship© First will be able to access the exclusive Chelsea Lounge™ experience, featuring a stunning circular champagne bar with a la carte dining amid a relaxed environment. Flagship© Business customers will receive access to the Greenwich Lounge™, offering chef-inspired meals and a premium wine table in addition to the Bridge Bar and Tasting Room experiences.
From Miami (MIA) and Philadelphia (PHL), American will operate one daily round-trip service using Boeing 787 aircraft for inbound travel on Feb. 8 and Feb. 9 and outbound travel on Feb. 12. On peak days, American will offer more than 150 lie-flat seats to and from LAS.

For tech-savvy business travelers, American will add more flights to BCN for the world's premier mobile communications trade show. Connecting customers with just one stop from more than 200 destinations across the United States and the world, American will offer more seats to BCN from MIA and JFK while operating special service from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW). These flights complement new year-round service from PHL to BCN, operating daily in time for the conference.
