Hartsfield-Jackson Announces Hiring of Four Assistant General Managers

ATL announces the hiring of Tyronia Smith, Carolyn Wilhight, Neville Randeria and Scott Carr.

ATLANTA – Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) announces the hiring of Tyronia Smith as assistant general manager for Commercial Revenue, Carolyn Wilhight as assistant general manager for Business Services, Neville Randeria as assistant general manager for Capital Finance, and Scott Carr as assistant general manager for Commercial Management.

Tyronia Smith oversees parking, concessions, customer experience, ground transportation, and marketing and brand strategy. The Greensboro, North Carolina, native began her career with the City of Atlanta in 2020 as a senior attorney. Previously, she handled litigation, corporate bankruptcy and creditor’s rights matters for Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs in Atlanta. Smith served there for nine years before partnering with a law school classmate to open her law firm, Chester Jennings & Smith. She earned undergraduate and law degrees from Wake Forest University.

Carolyn Wilhight directs multiple major airport business functions, including procurement, contract management, inventory control, fleet management, data analytics, budget management, quality assurance, and employee support services. She is responsible for strategic planning, business operations and allocating budgeted resources for the enterprise. The Purdue University graduate comes to Atlanta from Westchester, Illinois, with over 35 years of experience in finance and project management with various financial institutions including the Westchester School Board and the Cook County Clerk’s office.

Neville Randeria manages the capital financial planning associated with ATLNext, the Airport’s 20-year, multibillion-dollar capital improvement program. In addition, he is responsible for capital finance, treasury and financial planning functions. Randeria has held financial management roles in and outside the aviation industry for over two decades including at YP, Global Aviation Holdings, Harmony Airways, DHL and ATA Airlines. Before joining ATL, Randeria was the chief financial officer of ExpressJet Airlines. He holds a master’s in air transport management and operations from Cranfield University in England. He also holds a masters in aviation from Concordia University, as well as master’s and bachelor’s degrees in aerospace engineering from Texas A&M and the University of Colorado, respectively.

Scott Carr, before joining ATL, worked for FedEx as a senior airport properties representative, managing airport affairs, operations and planning for a portfolio of over 30 airport locations. The New Philadelphia, Ohio, native began his career working in various positions at the Titusville-Cocoa Airport Authority, including three Florida Space Coast airports. Following that, he served as airport director at the Amarillo International Airport, deputy airport director at Portland International Jetport, and vice president of commercial business and communications at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport. He earned his aviation management and operations undergraduate degree from Bowling Green University. He received his master’s degree and a graduate certificate in urban and regional planning from the University of Central Florida.
