Jan. 15, 2021

Flint Bishop is proud to announce that its Chief of Public Safety, Chris Miller, will receive the City of Flint Lifetime Achievement Award. It is the highest honor that can be given in Flint and includes a key to the city. A ceremony took place at 1pm on Jan. 15 in Flint.

“I’m incredibly proud of Chief Miller and what he’s done for this great community. He has been a true leader at the airport as FNT’s Chief of Public Safety,” said Nino Sapone, Flint Bishop Airport director.

Chief Miller announced his retirement from Flint Bishop earlier this year. After more than three decades of service to the airport and Genesee County, his final day on the job will be Jan. 22.

“This is an incredible honor and I am truly humbled to receive such an award. Flint has meant so much to me and I’m truly grateful to have enjoyed such a long career serving this community,” said Chief Miller.
