Domodedovo Airport’s experts have evaluated the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the aviation market during the New Year’s holidays. The carriers are launching new destinations, as well as adding frequencies on flights to the most popular domestic locations.
Severstal Airlines is launching flights to Veliky Ustyug, while S7 Airlines is operating daily services to Petrozavodsk. During the New Year’s holidays, Smartavia will perform flights from Domodedovo to Anapa, Sochi, Kaliningrad, Makhachkala, Vladikavkaz and Mineralnye Vody.
The number of flights to Sochi, Kaliningrad, Simferopol and Murmansk will increase by 30%.
According to experts, Sochi, Simferopol Saint-Petersburg. Krasnodar and Kaliningrad will make it to the top five most popular destinations. The airlines will perform over 1600 flights on the mentioned destinations during the New Year’s holidays.
