Bishop International Airport Announces United Airlines Increases Daily Flights to Chicago O’Hare

Oct. 2, 2020

Flint’s Bishop International Airport announced that United Airlines is continuing to increase their flights to the facility. Exactly one month since the return of their third daily flight from Flint to Chicago O’Hare, United is expanding their service once again by launching their fourth daily flight between the two airports. The 50-seat, CRJ jet service begins Oct. 2.

This fourth flight will operate on the most popular travel days of the week: Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The remaining days of the week will be served twice daily.

“Passenger traffic continues to increase at Flint Bishop Airport," stated Airport Director Nino Sapone. “As a smaller facility, devoted to cleanliness, convenience and top-notch air service, we have seen a rebound that is stronger than the national average. United Airlines’ rapid return of the majority of our seats is a testament to their dedication to our region and is a reflection of our community’s support of United and Flint Bishop Airport.”
