Dallas Love Field Selected for ACI World Roll of Excellence

Sept. 25, 2020

Dallas Love Field (DAL) has been inducted into the Airports Council International Director General’s Roll of Excellence for its multiple honors through the Airport Service Quality Awards program.

The Airport Service Quality Awards program is the gold-standard measurement of airport customer experience and is based on live surveys of passengers in airport terminals. DAL has placed in the top three each year since 2015.

In 2018 and 2019, DAL earned the top honor for North American Airports that serve 15-25 million passengers per year. The airport was third in 2016 and 2017 after a second place showing in 2015.

Airports that earn five ASQ awards over a 10-year period are inducted into the ACI World Roll of Excellence. Since its inception in 2011, just 55 airports worldwide have received the honor and DAL is one of seven slated for induction in 2020.

“The customer experience is the driving force behind every decision we make at Dallas Love Field,” Airport Director Mark Duebner said. “Our success in the ASQ awards program is attributable to listening to and reacting to our customers.”

ASQ winners are celebrated annually at an awards ceremony during ACI World’s Customer Experience Global Summit. The summit and ceremony were both canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so DAL will be recognized virtually for both its ASQ Award and Roll of Excellence honor during ASQ Customer Experience Week beginning Oct. 26.
