MAG (Manchester Airports Group) has reappointed Turner & Townsend to its consultancy framework – extending the businesses’ partnership over 30 years.

The global professional services consultancy will continue to provide engineering project management and design services (EPMDS) for MAG’s northern and southern regions, as the group pursues its redevelopment and expansion program.

In the UK, MAG operates Manchester Airport, London Stansted Airport and East Midlands Airport, with over 60 million passengers flying through these airports every year.

Within the scope of the framework Turner & Townsend is currently providing advice in connection with the development and delivery of MAG’s transformation programmes at Manchester and London Stansted airports together with a number of ‘business as usual’ investments at all three airports.

Specific services currently provided by Turner & Townsend to MAG include project management, cost and commercial management, procurement advisory, contract services and project controls.

Richard Stafford, Turner & Townsend’s UK Aviation sector lead, said: “Working with MAG for over thirty years has given our team an exceptional insight into the Group’s objectives and operations – allowing us to support its investment and growth across the UK”.

“We look forward to leveraging the expertise of our global team to positively influence MAG’s program delivery processes and, as a consequence, operational capability, customer service levels and revenue streams.”
