The daily Atlanta service will begin May 1 on Delta’s 199-seat Boeing 757 aircraft featuring 20 First Class, 20 Delta Comfort+ and 150 Main Cabin seats.

Delta Air Lines will increase its existing nonstop service from weekly to daily between Reno-Tahoe International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the world’s busiest airport, in spring 2020.

The daily Atlanta service will begin May 1 on Delta’s 199-seat Boeing 757 aircraft featuring 20 First Class, 20 Delta Comfort+ and 150 Main Cabin seats.

Connecting Reno-Tahoe to the busiest airport in the world is a major air service accomplishment. It will provide international connections to Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America. With approximately 900 daily flights available for passengers to connect to, the new flights to Atlanta are a major enhancement for both business and leisure.

“This flight is a victory for our entire region,” Marily Mora, president/CEO of Reno-Tahoe International Airport, said. “Customers have filled the seats when Atlanta was just seasonal, and our Regional Air Service Corporation has worked with our air service team to make it daily. We are proud of our strong relationship with Delta Air Lines and the support they have shown our community.”

The new daily flight is scheduled to depart Reno at 7 a.m. and arrives at 2:18 p.m. Service from Atlanta departs at 4:30 p.m. with arrival in Reno at 6:38 p.m.

“The best way to thank Delta for this new service is to fill the seats on these new daily flights,” Mora said. “If we want to continue to grow air service, it is important we support long haul flights like Delta to ATL.”
