Spokane International Airport (GEG) will celebrate Alaska Airlines’ first nonstop flight to San Diego International Airport (SAN) Oct. 2, at Gate C25 prior to the 7:10 a.m. departure time.
“We are delighted to see Alaska Airlines adding service to San Diego,” said Larry Krauter, CEO of Spokane International Airport. “San Diego is an important strategic market for Spokane/Coeur d’Alene region businesses and one of our largest unserved markets. Not only will this service provide a direct connection to San Diego businesses and vacation spots, it will also offer southern Californians the opportunity to explore the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene region, particularly during the upcoming winter ski season.”
San Diego becomes the 17th nonstop destination offered from Spokane International Airport and the fourth served by Alaska Airlines, joining Seattle, Portland and Boise. The year-round flight will be served with 76-seat Embraer 175 jets that feature a three-class cabin.
