Delta Launches New Nonstop Flights From Milwaukee to Seattle
Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele announced that Delta Air Lines had a successful launch March 10, of its new daily nonstop flight between Milwaukee County’s General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Delta and Mitchell Airport hosted a launch celebration in the gate area this morning, where each passenger received Seattle Space Needle-themed chocolates and a Mitchell Airport luggage tag commemorating the first flight.
“This new service to Delta’s fast-growing domestic and international hub at Seattle gives our travelers even more ways to travel to the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and beyond,” County Executive Abele said. “In addition, many Asian destinations like Japan, China, and South Korea are even easier to access with one simple connection in Seattle.”
The new flights are operated with 76-seat WiFi-equipped Embraer ERJ-175 aircraft featuring First Class, Delta Comfort, and Main Cabin seating. Delta SkyClub members and other eligible travelers can also access the Delta SkyClub on Concourse D.
Delta is the second largest carrier at MKE, with nonstop service from Milwaukee to Atlanta, Boston, Cancun, Cincinnati, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New York LaGuardia, Orlando, and Seattle. Tickets for all routes are available for purchase at www.delta.com.
