Volaris Launches New Nonstop Flights Between Milwaukee and Mexico

Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele announced March 3, Volaris has launched low-fare nonstop flights between Milwaukee County’s General Mitchell International Airport and Guadalajara International Airport in Jalisco, Mexico.

Passengers on the inaugural arrival flight March 2, were greeted with a celebration at MKE’s International Arrivals Terminal, featuring a welcome bag provided by tourism and convention promoter VISIT Milwaukee.  A short time later, early March 3, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Concourse C for the first departure to Guadalajara, Mexico.

“We are thrilled that Volaris now offers its low fares and great customer service on these new flights to the second-largest city in Mexico," Abele said.  " We welcome Volaris with open arms and are excited to build upon the relationships already shared between Milwaukee and Guadalajara.  The new nonstop flights being launched today will help connect friends and family while also enhancing the strong business ties between both cities."

The Guadalajara flights depart every Wednesday and Friday at 12:32 A.M.  The return flights arrive in Milwaukee every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:55 P.M.  The lowest fares are available online at www.volaris.com.
