SITA Announces New Vice President for Latin America

SITA announced the appointment of Elbson Quadros as Vice President, Latin America. Formerly vice president for Brazil, Quadros’ will now be responsible for customer relationships, sales and account management for SITA’s business in more than 20 countries across Latin America.

Nearly every airline and airport in the world does business with SITA and its border management solutions are used by more than 30 governments. With a presence at more than 1,000 airports around the world and a customer service team of 2,000+ staff, SITA delivers unmatched service to more than 2,800 customers in more than 200 countries.  In Latin America, hundreds of airlines and airport benefit from its strong presence in the region. Quadros now heads a team of sales and customer service professionals catering to these airports, airlines and governments.

Elbson Quadros has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology and Business Development. He has acted in major industries involving Internet, e-business, travel, tourism, logistic and air transport markets, and worked at IBM, Sabre, Indra and Atech (Embraer Group). He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Science, M.S. at Unicamp and MBA at the Texas University in the United States.
