Norfolk International Airport (ORF) reported a 4.36 percent increase in passenger activity for the month of July with 312,158 passengers. This figure compares to a July 2015 passenger count of 299,103. July marks the 14th consecutive month of year-over-year growth at ORF. For the January - July 2016 period, passenger activity has increased 7.55 percent versus the corresponding period in 2015.
In other activity, 5,322,295 pounds of cargo were shipped in and out of the airport during July. This represents a 3.35 percent increase versus July 2015, which saw 5,149,787 pounds of cargo shipped. For the January - July 2016 period, cargo activity has increased 6.84 percent versus the corresponding period in 2015.
