Jun. 5—American Airlines will add a direct flight between Billings and Chicago starting Wednesday, June 5; the flights will run through October.
The new air service came about through work from the city, Billings Logan International Airport, Visit Billings, the Billings Chamber of Commerce and Big Sky Economic Development.
"BIL appreciates the continued investment American Airlines is making in our airport, community, and region with scheduled air service between Billings and Chicago," said Billings airport chief Jeff Roach, the city's director of aviation and transit. "This daily service will provide consistent connectivity to the east, as well as additional travel opportunities for visitors to our region through October 2024."
Tickets for this new flight service are now available through the American Airlines website and its mobile app.
