COVID Testing Site Now Open at Cleveland Hopkins Airport

Jan. 8, 2021

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Travelers can now be tested for COVID-19 before departing from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

A new testing site opened Wednesday inside the main ticketing terminal, accessible to travelers and the general public. The site, operated by Georgia-based TACKL Health, offers both rapid antigen tests, with results available in about 15 minutes, and more accurate PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests, with results available within 2-3 days.

The tests are given in one of four private rooms, set up before security screening near the ticketing-level information booth. Appointments can be scheduled in advance, but are not necessary.

The site is open 6 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. The location does not currently accept health insurance. Cost is $95 for the rapid antigen test, $135 for the PCR test or $175 for both.

An increasing number of destinations are requiring visitors to show proof of a negative COVID test before entry. For information: tacklhealth.com/cle.
