Istanbul Ataturk Airport to be Demolished

Istanbul Ataturk Airport will be demolished, a source at the Transport and Infrastructure Ministry of Turkey told Trend.

According to the ministry, a tender for the demolition of the airport will be held on Oct. 10, 2019.

The ministry noted that logistics and cargo centers at Ataturk Airport will be demolished as well.

Istanbul Ataturk Airport was closed for international and domestic flights on April 6, 2019.
