Odd Smells Reported in Plane at Plattsburgh International Airport

PLATTSBURGH — First responders were sent to Plattsburgh International Airport Wednesday afternoon to deal with a report of four sick passengers.

At approximately 5:10 p.m., reports came over the scanner that four passengers were complaining about odd smells in the plane they were in.

Airport Fire, South Plattsburgh Fire and EMS, and Morrisonville, Peru and CVPH EMS all responded to the airport, while District 3 stood by at South Plattsburgh’s Station 1 and Cumberland Head stood by at South Plattsburgh’s Station 2.

All responders had cleared the scene by 6 p.m., Clinton County Dispatch said, with no patients brought to the hospital.
