A man is in police custody after authorities say he drove through a fence and onto an active runway at the Pensacola International Airport.
Pensacola Police Department spokesman Mike Wood said the man drove through the fence between the passenger terminal and Heliworks at about 12:50 p.m. Wednesday.
The man drove onto an active runway and then into a grassy area, where he did doughnuts in his car, according to police.
