Planes Flipped Over as Wind Gusts Hit Titusville Airport, Officials Say

The incident happened about 4 p.m. Monday as a strong line of thunderstorms moved south through the area bringing heavy rains, powerful wind gusts, and lightning.

Strong winds whipped through northern Brevard, flipping over at least three small airplanes at Space Coast Regional Airport in Titusville, authorities reported.

No injuries were reported.
