More Than 1,500 Flights Cancelled at N.J., N.Y., Philly Airports by Storm

More than a thousand flights have been cancelled at New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia airports due to a major winter storm that hit the region overnight and is expected to get worse through Wednesday.

As of 7 a.m., Newark Liberty International Airport had the highest number of cancellations for incoming and outgoing flights with 540, according to the airport's Twitter account.
