CANANDAIGUA — Later this year, work is expected to begin on a general aviation terminal building at the Canandaigua Airport, according to Ontario County Economic Development Developer Michael Manikowski.
And $1.485 million in funding will help construction take flight.
“We want a high-quality aviation gateway to Ontario County for businesses, residents and tourists,” said Manikowski, who added that design work on the proposed 3,000-square-foot structure is underway.
