TN: Nashville Airport CEO Rob Wigington's Future in Question at BNA

At a glitzy news conference Friday to showcase a $1.2 billion expansion coming to the Nashville International Airport, the airport's CEO and president for most of the past five years was not there.

Rob Wigington, hired to lead the airport in 2012, has been on paid medical leave since July. 

More recently, legal counsel for the Nashville Airport Authority's board of commissioners has been in contact with an attorney for Wigington about his transition out permanently, according to multiple sources. The closed-door talks have prolonged for weeks.
