At the GSE Expo Europe, COBUS Industries GmbH welcomes visitors at Booth EX16. The pioneering company in apron bus technology is presenting its brand-new fuel cell bus COBUS HYDRA and the fully electric-driven COBUS VEGA. Both offer an overall sustainable and state-of-the art solution for clean airport transport.
Sustainability is one of the exhibition’s main focuses, thus it is the perfect platform for COBUS Industries to show its latest developments. The COBUS HYDRA is fuelled by hydrogen, has a refilling time of less than 9 minutes and an extended range of up to 400 kilometres. It will be highlighted in a special digital presentation. As fuel cells are an efficient conversion technology and as hydrogen is a clean energy carrier, the COBUS HYDRA will fully support the European Union’s strategy for transforming its airports to meet environmental challenges to become fully carbon-free.
The COBUS VEGA is the first product of a new series of fully electric driven buses from COBUS Industries. Its concept is based on the innovation leaders in electric city buses, Caetanobus and Daimler Truck. The new bus can be equipped in a modular system with two to four NMC3 batteries of the latest generation. Besides the proven technology, the main features are an improved passenger and driver comfort as well as the most advanced exterior and interior design. The COBUS VEGA is a consequent development focusing on ecological challenges and economical demands.
With the presentation of the COBUS HYDRA and the COBUS VEGA, once again, COBUS Industries impressively demonstrates its pioneering role in airport bus manufacturing.
