Today's Thought Leaders, Tomorrow's Industry Leaders
Well folks, the time is here. The annual Airport Business Top 40 Under 40 is in your hands now and you’re ready to see who made it in this year’s crop. It’s the fifth edition of the awards for the magazine and I have some great news for all of you.
This industry has an extremely bright future ahead of it with some of the most amazingly talented leaders coming up through the ranks.
I’m serious. Airport Business prides itself on showcasing the true thought leaders of the industry who are taking airports and aviation to the next level of service; create new revenues and opportunities for airports; and providing world-class infrastructure that serves as a central catalyst to their communities.
The 2016 Top 40 class are not only doing this already, but they’re going to start taking on even bigger roles in the near future that will really accelerate growth and innovation.
This year’s competition was incredible. We got more than 200 submissions from you in the industry. And our judges as part of our partnership with ACC had their work cut out for them. The quality crop of candidates was unprecedented and made it very challenging to pick just 40.
Make sure you check out more on our Website at www.AviationPros.com/12263951 to learn even more about the candidates. Each of them shared more information on how they’re leading the industry and their background.
We also added videos of the candidates this year where they got a chance to share their thoughts in their own words.
Thank you to all the nominators who took the time to nominate the best and brightest their organizations have to offer. Many not picked shouldn’t be discouraged. The 2017 nominations will open soon, so keep checking the website for more updates.
Congrats to our Top 40 winners! And when you see them around the industry this coming year, make sure to introduce yourself because these are professionals who will be leading the entire industry in the next few years.

Can Power Drive More Revenues?
While concessions and vending have been stalwarts of building these revenues for years, Joe Yeagley, co-founder of FuelRod, says vending products like his should be viewed as a tool to build revenues, not necessarily generate them.
