MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA: New ways to reach (and service) the customer

With a rash of new communication devices and methods on the market, airport business magazine technical editor Brad McAllister heads up an interactive panel to explore how FBOs and other tenant organizations interact with their customers. What tools are best to use? What is the best way use them, and how much resource should be dedicated to them? This session focuses on what's worked so far, and what's on the horizon in terms of user functionality.

Panelists

Ryan Keough is the associate director of marketing and communications for Cutter Aviation. He has more than 15 years of experience in the business and general aviation industry and specializes in marketing, media relations, communications, and business development. Ryan is tasked with social media planning and execution for Cutter. Ryan is a graduate of Daniel Webster College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management, and he is also a private pilot.

Robert Mark: Jetwhine's editor, Robert Mark, is a 30-year aviation-industry veteran and the Chief Executive Officer of CommAvia, a business development consulting group that specializes in marketing, public relations, issues management, and community relations solutions for airports and aviation businesses around the globe. Robert is also an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.

Paula Williams is a marketing consultant for aviation-related businesses at Aviation Business Consultants International Inc. and an instructor and facilitator of the Aviation Marketing Master Class, a collaborative marketing and new media course for professional, entrepreneurs, and sales managers in the aviation industry. Paula has spoken on the topic of social media at several aviation industry-related tradeshows.
