Rockford, Ill. – The Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) released traffic statistics for July 2013.  Reports show a 28.7% increase in traffic over July of 2012.  The increase can be attributed to a number of factors including Allegiant’s continued service to Punta Gorda through the summer as well as Frontier operating larger aircraft to Denver. Flights departing in July averaged a 97% load factor.

“We continue to see demand exceed capacity as we recognize very high load factors,” said Mike Dunn, RFD Director.
